Paul Perry is an American-Argentine writer, translator and broadcaster who has lived in Buenos Aires since 1990. Originally from Philadelphia, he’s spent over three decades immersed in porteño life — long enough to stop being a tourist and start being a local.
He’s the author of Buenos Aires Chronicles – Poetically Porteño, a collection of poems and prose on expat life in 1990s Argentina, and the host of the Gringos in Buenos Aires Podcast, a live English-language show recorded live every week. Across his work — from the podcast to his Cool Castellano Argentine-slang series — Paul writes about language, culture, humor, and the realities of building a life in Buenos Aires as a long-term expat.
